Press note DCP SZ 15 12 2015 cordon and search operation................

To-day i.e., on 15/12/2015, in the early hours South Zone Police and South Zone Task Force teams  conducted Cordon and Search Operations with a common goal to  disallow the unlawful acts  which are harmful & terrorizing  the common civics.  The common aim of the South Zone Police is to build the confidence / sense of safety and security in the minds of the common civics and to protect the civics from harm, abuse, murder and infringement/breach of personal rights, peace and order in the society.


Total 40 teams consisting of 400 Police force including South Zone Task Force teams involved in this operation. Simultaneous search operations were conducted by cordoning the various localities Amjadullabagh, Vattepalli, Fathemanagar, Farooq Narooq nagar, Bhavani Nagar, Jagammet etc. in the Police Station limits of Kanchanbagh, Hussainia Alam, Chatrinaka, Falaknuma PSs

During the search operations, Police discovered the following:

  1. PDS RICE: Dump of 60 nos of 50 Kgs (PDS) rice bags in the possession of Sayed Nayeem S/o Sayed Reyaz age 34 years, Occ: cloth business R/o Jallal Kuncha, Hussaini Alam  in the limits of Hussaini Alam, 47 nos of 50 Kgs & 11 Nos of 25 Kgs PDS Rice in the possession of Arif at Nawabsab Kunta, in the limits of Falaknuma PS and 24 bags of 20 Kgs of rice in the possession of Sabeer in the limits of Kanchanbagh which are supposed to be given to the below poverty line people as announced by the Government. Similarly around 300 litters of Kerosene, Sugar and (PDS) Rice discovered in the possession of Dasthgir in the limits of Kanchanbagh. We are probing into the scam and brake down the chain involved in this evil process which is effecting the good cause / welfare measures being carryed out by the Telangana State Government for the welfare of the below poverty line people.
  2. CHILD LABOURS: In similar searches 12 minors of Purnia Dist of Bihar State in the limits of Chatrinaka and 20 minors of Bihar States in the limits of Falaknuma PS and rescued 14 minors (8 from Jharkhand, 2 of Kolkatha and 4 of Bihar)  from the 4 different bangle making units. They are working in the unsafe atmosphere for human beings. All 46 children are being sent to rescue home of Child welfare department to restoring them to their parents of different states.

In the month of January-2015, 320 children ( 216 boys + 3 Girls in the limits of Bhavani Nagar PS, 58 in Chandrayangutta, 16 in kanchanbagh, 30 in Falaknuma PSs), 43 children (7 in Charminar, 22 in Mirchowk, 14 in Bhavani Nagar) in the month of Feb-2015 and 22 Children in Moghalpura PS in the  month of April-2015   were rescued  by registering 31 cases Under section 370, 374 IPC and sec. 26 of JJ Act and Sec 16, 17, 18 of Bounded Labour system abolishing act for disposing of human beings as a slave by means of importing from the states of Bihar, West Bengal, Jarkhand and  effecting the arrest of 63 accused persons. Latter after confining the cast of the rescued children, section of SC /ST POA Act  has been added to the respective cases.

Due the stringent action of the police against the accused persons who were engaged the minor children in bangle making units in a hazardous atmosphere earlier are not into the practices but the people who are not attracted / not come to the notice of police at that time are imported the 46 minor children from the states of Bihar, Jarkhand, West Bengal in the recent past on trial bases in a conceal way to utilize their service in preparation of Bangles.

Waheed S/o Shaik Aslauddin age 43 years Occ Bangle manufacturing business R/o Jangammet, Hyderabad native of Sakhin Dabaulay village, Baraidgha post, Purnia Dist of Bihar State at PS Chatrinaka, Parveez,( Agent / Owner of Manufacturing Unit) aged about 23 years, Occ: Bangle Business R/o Talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar native of Nayanagar, Gudda Dist of Jarkhand State & Dhanesh S/oSabair age 21 years Occ: Bangles Manufacturing Business R/o Aman Nagar- B, Talbakatta Native of Dubeli Village, Dagarva PS Purnia Dist. Bihar State, Rojan age 65 years occ Bangles Manufacturing business  R/o Talabkatta, Native of Gaya  at PS Bhavani Nagar, Tanveer, aged about 20 years, Occ: Bangles Manufacturing Business R/o Farooq Nagar, Native of Dhamol Village, Navadha Dist of Bihar State at Falaknuma PS.      

Hyderabad City Police is very keen and determined to eradicate child labour in the City to zero tolerance level.  

  1. ILLEGAL GAS REFILLING: During search operations, illegal Gas refilling unit has be located, seized 4 full Cylinders and one Empty Cylinder at Farooq Nagar, Falknuma apprehended Accused Syed Ahmed Ali. Police is probing into this issue regarding involvement of  HP Gas supplying staff.
  2. Unearthed adulterer edible oil: Sleuths apprehended the erring person Mohd. Jaweed Hussain R/o Aman Nagar B, talabkatta, Bhavani Nagar who is indulging in adulteration of edible oil with different types of oils and selling to the needy customers to make easy money. 65 tins of 15 litters and 60 bottles of 5 litters were seized from his possession. The same are being handing over to the GHMC food Inspector for taking further action.    
  3. Illegal possession of 2 Daggers and 2 Swords: During the search operations around 4o rowdy Sheeters were rounded up and searches were made. During the search 2 Daggers and 2 Swords were seized from Mohd Irfan age 26 years, occ Car Diver R/o Fathima Nagar, Falaknuma, Feroz S/o Ahmed Hussain age 25 years Occ: Lorry cleaner R/o Achi Reddy Nagar, Falaknuma and Raheem Baba S/o Mohd Miya age 33 yrs Occ: Teavels Business R/o Vatepally, Falaknuma, Hyderabad, probing on the subject and suitable action will be initiated.  


Speaking to the media, V. Satyanarayana, IPS DCP South Zone said that the prime aim of the police to build the confidence sense of safety and security in the minds of the public and to protect them from harm, abuse, infringement/breach of personal rights etc., Police will continue the similar Cordon and Search operation at a regular interval. He requested the general public to keep inform the evil/ unlawful acts in their localities to the concerned police Inspectors.
