ARREST OF (03) SYMPATHIZERS OF ISIS / ISIL
During the course of investigation of tracing of 3 missing person cases of Chandrayangutta and Humayunnagar PSs a team was formed under the charge of Inspector SIT and on receipt of credible information, in the early hours of 26.12.2015, the SIT police went to Nagpur and traced 3 missing persons at Nagpur Airport. Their names are 1) MOHD ABDULLA BASITH @ MUSAIB S/o Abdul Arif age 20 years Occ: Student; 2) SYED OMER FAROOQ HUSSAINI S/o Syed Azizullah Hussaini age 22 years Occ: Student both residents of Chandarayangutta and 3) MAAZ HASAN FAROOQ S/o Aijaz Mohiuddin Wasim age 22 years Occ: Student R/o Humayunnagar and they are related to each other and nephews of Late Syed Salahuddin, Ex-President of SIMI.N/o Nalgonda. They were brought to Hyderabad in the late night and on sustained interrogation, they confessed to have Jehadi ideology and in this regard they have entered into criminal conspiracy and tried to go to Afghanistha, Iraq, Syria and Palestine via Kashmir for furtherance of unlawful activities and in order to join hands with Jehadi forces of ISIS / ISIL to wage war against States. Further they confessed to have decided to meet ASIYAN ANDRABI, chief of DUKHTARAN-e-MILLAT and seek her help to cross the border.
Earlier in September 2014 Abdullah Basith and Maaz Hasan Farooq made an attempt to go to Afghanisthan, Syria, Iraq, Palestine via Bangladesh, along with 2 others namely Abrar and Noman, but police has foiled their attempt at Kolkata and brought them to Hyderabad and counseled them in the presence of their parents, and let off as they were not committed any cases.
Case was registered at CCS Hyderabad and entrusted to ACP SIT for further investigation and accused were being remanded.
