PRESS NOTE
During the first week of November'2015, P S Lake officials has rescued five persons i.e., three male and two female and their particulars are 1) Smt. Mekala Balamani .2) Sri P.Nagaraju. 3)Anirudh. 4)Saniya Parwin. 5)Shiva Prasad. were all rescued, while they were about to commit suicide by jumping into the Hussain Sagar Lake. The Details of the victims are as follows:-
First incident: Occurred on 04/11/2015 at 1945 hours near upper tank bund at Pooja stal.
Details of Victim: Smt. Mekala Balamani, W/o. Mekala Balram, age 45 years occ:-house wife, r/o. Jagdheergutta.
Reason: On causing enquiry she revealed that she got married and blessed with three Daughters and the three of them got married. Her 2nd son-in-law harass her daughter to bring Gold pusthala thaadu as a dowry. She is unable to purchase gold and torture metted out by her son-in-law, she went into depression and planned to commit suicide by jumping into the lake water.
SECOND INCIDENT: It occurred on 04.11.2015 at around 2245 hours at upper tankbund near Lepakshi
Details of Victim: P.Nagaraju, S/o. P.Raju age 17 years, occ:-daily labour, R/o jaganguda shameerpet, R.R dist
Reason: : On causing enquiry, it came to know that the victim’s father performed second marriage and she usually scolds him for unnecessary reasons and asks him to give money, due to which he went into depression and decided to end his life by jumping into the lake water.
THIRD INCIDENT: It occurred on 05.11.2015 at 0130 hours at Upper Tankbund near children’s park.
Details of Victim Sri Anirudh, S/o. Ramesh, age:17 years, occ:-student, R/o.18-5-75, mekala banda, Lal darwaja, Hyderabad.
Reason: : On causing enquiry, it came to know that the victim is having family problems due to that he went into depression and decided to end his life by jumping into the lake water
FOURTH INCIDENT: : It occurred on 05.11.2015 at 1100 hours near upper tank bund at Pooja stal.
Details of Victim:- Smt. Saniya Parwin, W/o. MD. Noushad, age:18 years, occ:-House wife, R/o. street no 4, faridh basthi, Himyath nagar.
Reason: On causing enquiry, she revealed that she got married 2 years ago. From the past 6 months, she severly suffering from stomach ache and showed in many hospitals but did not get cure. As she was unable to overcome the pain for which she decided to end her life by jumping into the lake water.
FIFTH INCIDENT: It is occurred on 05.11.2015 at around1745 hours at upper tankbund near Lepakshi.
Details of Victim:- ,Kum. Shivaprasad, S/O. Venkat, age: 15 years, occ: Student, r/o. 2-125 Dimmadurthy mamada Nirmal.
Reason: : On causing enquiry, it came to know that the victim was scolded by his mother for not going to school and also warned him to not to come to the house. As she was scolded him, her son was felt bad and depressed himself by thinking in a negative way that her mother will not allow to enter into the house for which he planned to commit suicide by jumping into the late.
As such Lake Police played a vital role in saving them spontanouesly without giving any scope for untoward incidents for which they could saved the lives of people viz., 1. Mekala Balamani .2) P.Nagaraju. 3)Anirudh. 4)Saniya Parwin. 5)Shiva Prasad. These five incidents were occurred inbetween from 02-11-2015 to 05-11-2015. Smt.K. Sreedevi, Inspector of Police, Lake Police Station had counselled them promptly and they were safely handed over to their relatives and concerned by taking their assurances that they will not repeat such things in near & future.
Thus, the patrolling Blue Colts of Lake PS viz., Sri.Santosh, PC 5686, Sri. Satyanarayana, PC 5826, Sri. Abhilash, PC 4007, Sri. Satyam pc 2981 and Sri.prabakar Hg 3190, Hg 8741 Hg 8449 have tactfully identified the above persons in a suspicious manner and rescued them from committing suicide which was done under the supervision of Smt. Sreedevi Inspector lake P.S. On that the officer & her staff will be suitably reward as a token of recognition of their good work in saving lives.
