PRESS NOTE
GOPALPAURAM POLICE OF NORTH ZONE DETECTED 27 DAYS BOY KIDNAPPING CASE WITHIN 48 HOURS IN CRIME NO. 352/2015 U/S 363 IPC OF GOPALAPURAM PS.

Complainant:
Smt. T Ramadevi W/o Lakshman (Late), age: 22 years, Occ: Rag picket, R/o Kondapuram(V), Khammam(Dist), C/o: Secunderabad Car Parking Area.

Victim:
Master Nagachary, S/o the Complainant, aged about 27 days.

Accused:
(A-1)  Suresh C/o Car Parking, Secunderabad Railway station. (Absconding)
(A-2)  Mohd Arif S/o Mohd. Yousuf, age; 25 years, Occ; Fast Food Centre styled as M/s
        Sana Fast Food Centre, Hakimpet, Tolichowki, Hyderabad r/o 9-4-29/17/2,   
        Hakimpet, Tolichowki, Hyderabad.  

Details of the case:

On 18/11/2015 at 0300 hours received a complaint from Smt. T. Rama Devi in which she stated that on 16-11-2015 at about 1700 hours, while she along with her 27 days old son by name Nagachari were at Car Parking Area, Secunderabad, one person by name Suresh, occ: Worker in a Function Hall, C/o; Secunderabad Car Parking Area, who is well known to her came to her and asked her to sell her 27 days old son for Rs 5000/-, but she refused and another person who came along with Suresh requested her for long time to Sell her son, but she also refused to him. On 17/11/2015 at 2100 hours, she was sitting at Car Parking Area along with her son, the said Suresh came to her and at about 2230 hours she Suresh to look after her child for sometime as she has to go to bathroom. After some time she returned back and found her son was missing. Upon which a case in Crime No. 352/2015 U/s 363 IPC has been registered and investigated into.

During the course of investigation, Sri S. Ramachandra Reddy, Inspector of Police along with Sri S. Raghunath, Addl. Inspector of Police, I.O. Sri S. Venkatesh, SI of police investigated the case adroitly and apprehended the A-2)  Mohd. Arif at Hakimpet, Tolichowki, Hyderabad and recovered the kidnapped boy Nagachari from H. No. 9-4-29/17/2, Hakimpet, Tolichowki, Hyderabad.
The investigation done revealed that the A-2) Mohd. Arif’s elder sister by name Smt. Nasreen got married with one Jameel about 10 years back and did not get children. The doctors declared that she is unfit to get children. As such, her husband is intending for second marriage. To settle his sister’s life, the said Mohd. Arif approached A-1) Suresh on 16-11-2015 evening hours and requested to provide a child from any body and he will give money. Accordingly, the A-1) Suresh initially requested the complainant to sell her son, but she refused to give her son. As such, on 17-11-2015 at about 2300 hours, the A-1) kidnapped the complainant’s son at Car parking of Sec’bad Railway station and sold out to A-2) Mohd. Arif for Rs. 12,000/- and the A-2 took away the boy to his home.  

The good work was done by Sri S. Ramachandra Reddy, Inspector of Police, Sri S. Raghunath, Addl. Inspector of Police and Sri S. Venkatesh, SI of Police and their staff of Gopalapuram PS, under the supervision of Sri K. Shiva Kumar, ACP, Gopalapuram Division and under the above guidance of Sri Y.V. Giri, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, North Zone, Sec’bad.
