PRESS NOTE

APPREHENDED JOB FRAUD GANG BY CCS POLICE, HYDERABAD. RECOVERED NET CASH OF RS.2,68,000/- AND FOUR CELL PHONES FROM THE POSSESION OF ACCUSED

A joint team of task force and Central Crime Station arrested a job fraud gang  A-1 : Komi Reddy Mallanna @ Malla Reddy, S/o. K. Pochaiah, aged 33 yrs, Occ: C.E.O., T9 News Channel, R/o. H.No.12-13-28, Street No.5, Tarnaka, Secunderabad, Presently R/o. Flat No.101, Line No.1, P&T Colony, Street No.6, Medipally, RR District,  N/o. Luxettipet Mandal of Adilabad District, A-2 : Tulluri Ramesh @ Ramesh, S/o. late Satyanarayana, aged 43 years, Occ: Lab Assistant at Methodist College, Abids, R/o. H.No.16-11-1/6/B, Saleemnagar, Malakpet, Hyderabad, N/o. Nellipaka Banzar, Ashwapuram Mandal, Khammam District, A-3 : Boidi Naresh Babu @ Naresh, S/o. B. Venkata Ratnam, aged 28 yrs, Occ: Un-employee, R/o. H.No.12-12-164 to 169, Seethapalmandi, Secunderabad and A-4 : Dara Venkateshwara Rao @ Venkatesh, S/o late D. Subbulu, aged 44 years, Occ: Govt. Employee, D.R. Asst. in Secretariat, R/o. H.No.C-29, Patigadda Colony, Secunderabad involved in Crime No.285/2015 U/s. 406, 420 r/w. 34  IPC registered at Central Crime Station.

Brief facts of the cases :

       The complainant Sri Sairi Venu and Sri E. Mahesh applied for job in GENCO for the post of Asst. Engineer.  The accused A-2 : Tulluri Ramesh @ Ramesh came into contact with them, and assured them that he would facilitate for securing the job, provided the complainant paid an amount of Rs. 10 lakhs and asked for Rs. 2.50 lakhs as an advance. The accused A-2  introduced A-3 Boidi Naresh Babu @ Naresh to them, Sairi Venu and Sri E. Mahesh along with A-2 to A-3 approached A-1 : Komi Reddy Mallanna @ Malla Reddy, who is CEO in T9 channel  who allegedly  has  contacts with GENCO officials and also known A-4 : Dara Venkateshwara Rao @ Venkatesh, who is working in Secretariat. The accused assured to arrange the exam paper one day prior to the test. They handed over advance of Rs.2,50,000/- each to A-1 at the instance of A-2 to A-3.  The accused A-1 to A-4 became conspired to cheat the unemployed youth with false promises to provide  jobs to them by collecting huge amounts illegally.  A-1 informed A-3 to  scout for unemployed youth who are in search of jobs in Govt., or Private Firms, so that can collect huge amounts from the innocent unemployed youth by luring jobs. Thus, the accused A-1 to A-4 intentionally cheated them by luring with false promises to provide “A.E. job in GENCO” and taken Rs. 5 lakhs . The accused A-1 and A-4 confessed that in the year 2011 they collected about Rs.1,00,000/- from 10 candidates and gave to one Narayana Goud who told them that he would provide jobs in Railways Group D management quota posts. Later Narayana Goud absconded and they returned  the amount to the candidates.

   Sri P. Vikram Dev, Inspector of Police, WCO Team-VI along with his Team and with the assistance of South Zone Task Force Team apprehended the above accused A-1 to A-4 at A.G. Office, Lakdi-ka-pool, Hyderabad under the supervision of Addl. D.C.P. Sri Vijender Reddy and seized net cash of Rs.2,68,000/- and four mobile phones.
