LAKE POLICE RESCUED SEVEN PERSONS ( ONE MALE, FOUR FEMALE AND TWO CHILDREN PERSONS ) FROM COMMITING SUICIDE
During 2nd and 3rd of September 2015, PS Lake officials has rescued seven person i.e., Four Female, One Male and Two Children. Their particulars are 1. Sri G. Sai kumar, 2. Smt E. Renuka, 3. Baby Haripriya, 4. Smt Dulguch. Swapna, 5. & 6. Burugupally. Shruthilaya and her six months baby, 7. Smt M. Kavitha, while they were attempting to commit suicide by jumping into the Hussain Sagar Lake. The Details of the rescued persons are as follows:-
First incident: Occurred on 02.09.2015 at 2200 hours at upper tank bund near Lepakshi:
Details of Victims:
Sri. Sai kumar s/o G. Laxman, age:- 24 years, Occ:- Tea stall, r/o:- 281, Maruthi nagar, Near ambedkar statue, beside Goshala, Kavadi guda, hyd.
Reasons: On causing enquiry, he revealed that he got marriage with G. Swapna and blessed with children. He is a alcoholic and often quarrels with his wife. Last night also, he went home in a drunken condition and quarreled with her at that time his father i.e., G. Laxman scolded him not to fight with her and stop drinking alcohol for which he decided to commit suicide by jumping into the lake and came in drunken condition.
SECOND INCIDENT: Occurred on 03.09.2015 at 2340 hours at upper tankbund near Lepakshi:
Details of Victims:
Smt. E. Renuka w/o E. Nagesh, age:- 23 Years, occ:- private employee, r/o:- near Bible House, beside Gujarat School, Gandhi nagar, Sec-bad.
Reasons: On causing enquiry, she revealed that she got married and blessed with one female child (Hari priya, age:- 6 years) and presently she is 5 months pregnant. Her husband is a alcoholic and used to beat her regularly on petty issues. Last night, he went home in a drunken condition and bet her. As she was unable to bear the torture and decided to commit suicide and thus she came to upper tankbund near lepakshi along with her 6 years daughter (Haripriya) and tried to commit suicide.
THIRD INCIDENT: Occurred on 03.09.2015 at 1045 hours at upper tankbund near Lepakshi:
Details of Victims:
Smt. Dulguch. Swapna w/o Dulguch. Srinivas, age:- 27 years, occ:- housewife, r/o:- 23-4-686, Sulthan shai, Hyd.
Reasons: On causing enquiry, she revealed that she got married and blessed with two female children. She is suffering from fits and undergoing treatment at Sai Krishna Nero hospital from the last two years due to this she got fed up on her life and decided to end her life.
FOURTH INCIDENT: Occurred on 03.09.2015 at 1520 hours at upper tankbund near Lepakshi:
Details of Victims:
Smt. Burugupally. Sruthilaya w/o B. Srinivas, age:- 24 years, occ:- housewife, r/o:- 6-6-92, Devi nagar colony, Kavadiguda, Hyderabad.
Reasons: On causing enquiry, she revealed that she is suffering with family disputes and thought to stay apart from her husband but he denied to do so. So she decided to end her life and came to upper tank bund on 03.09.2015 at 15.20 hours and tried to jump into the lake water along with her six months baby.
FIFTH INCIDENT: Occurred on 03.09.2015 at 1700 hours at upper tankbund near Lepakshi:
Details of Victims:
Smt. M. Kavitha w/o M. Raju, age:- 38 years, occ:- housewife, r/o:- 8-3-616/54, Yellareddy guda, near Law collage, Ameerpet,Hyd.
Reasons: On causing enquiry, she revealed that she got married and blessed with two male children. She noticed her husband maintaining illegal affairs with some ladies in this context, she quarrelled with her husband and planned to end her life by jumping into the lake.
As such Lake Police played a vital role in saving them in spontanouesly without giving any scope for untoward incidents for which they could have saved the lives of people viz., 1. Sri G. Sai kumar, 2. Smt E. Renuka, 3. Baby Haripriya, 4. Smt Dulguch. Swapna, 5. & 6. Burugupally. Shruthilaya and her SIX months baby, 7. Smt M. Kavitha in five incidents which occured in between 02.09.2015 at 2200 hours to 03.06.2015 at 1700 hours. Smt.K. Sreedevi, Inspector of Police, Lake Police Station counselled them promptly and they were safely handed over to their relatives with taking their assurances that they will not repeat such things in near & future.
Thus, the patrolling Blue Colts of Lake PS viz., Sri. Shareef, PC 7868, Sri. Santosh kumar, PC 5686, Sri. Rakesh sagar, PC 3455, Sri. Abhilash, PC 4007, Sri. Mahesh, PC 8649 and Sri. Raj kumar, PC 3358 have tactfully identified the above persons in a suspicious manner and rescued them from committing suicide which was done under the supervision of Smt. Sreedevi Inspector lake P.S. On that the officer & her staff will be suitably reward as a token of recognition of their good work in saving lives.
