Salaries of contract teachers to be hiked: KCR
Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Saturday took a decision to hike salaries of contract teachers working in tribal residential schools in the State. The State government has followed the 2010 Pay Revision Commission recommendationsto hike the salaries of the contract teachers working in tribal residential schools. With this, as many as 18,092 tribal teachers will be benefited, according to information sources.
With the fresh hike, school assistants will get Rs 14,800 and special grade teachers will get Rs 10,900. KCR’s decision to increase salary as per pay revision will put an additional burden of Rs 27.22 crore on the State exchequer.
