LAKE POLICE RESCUED TWO PERSON (ONE MALE & ONE FEMALE) FROM COMMITING SUICIDE
In the intervening night of 22nd/23rd-09-2015, PS Lake officials had rescued two person i.e., One Male and One Female. Their particulars are:- 1) K. Udaya sree, 2) Jakkam. Suresh were all rescued, while they were about to commit suicide by jumping into the Hussain Sagar Lake. The Facts of the rescued persons are as follows:-
First incident: Occurred on 22.09.2015 at 2300 hours at upper tank bund near Lepakshi:
Details of Victims:
Kum. K. Udaya sree d/o Sri. K. Vajraiah, age:- 17 years, occ:- Btech 3rd year, r/o:- 6-2-151, Bhoiguda, Gandhi nagar, Sec-bad.
Reasons: On causing enquiry, she revealed that she is studying Btech 3rd year. Her parents were keep on scolding her for chitchatting in mobile round the clock and she don’t do any work at home. She neither study at home nor help her mother. Due to which her father fed up, hence she was badly scolded by him. Boring against her father she planned to commit suicide. Last night at about 23.00 hrs she came to tank bund at lepakshi and taught of jumping into the hussain sagar lake.
SECOND INCIDENT: It is occurred on 23.09.2015 at 1430 hours at upper tankbund near Pooja stal:
Details of Victims:
Sri. Jakkam. Suresh s/o J.V. Francies, age:-30 years, occ:- auto driver, r/o:- 3-13-408, lal bazaar, backside traffic PS, thirmalgiri, hyd.
Reasons: On causing enquiry, he revealed that he got marriage with Smt. Rajitha in the year 2009 and lead conjugal life happily. He used to drink toddy (Kallu) regullarly and quarrels with his wife. As she unable to bare the torture, being metted by her husband i.e., Victim and took divorce from him on January 2015. Since then he went into depression. Later on for a period of 15 days he didn’t drink alcohol. Due to withdrawal symptoms he forgot everything and suffering from psychological. Today at about 1430 hrs came to upper tankbund near pooja stal and jumped into the lake water. Immediately, the available lake police noticed the victim and jumped into the lake and rescued him. After counselling him Smt. K. Sreedevi, Inspector of lake PS called his family members and suggested them to contact a psychiatrist. Hence handed over to them.
As such Lake Police played a vital role in saving them in spontaneously without giving any scope for untoward incidents for which they could have saved the lives of people viz., 1) Kum. K. Udaya sree, and 2) Sri. Jakkam. Suresh, while in two incidents which occured in between 22.09.2015 at 2300 hours to 23.06.2015 at 1430 hours. Smt.K. Sreedevi, Inspector of Police, Lake Police Station counselled them promptly and they were safely handed over to their relatives by duly taking their assurances that they will not repeat such things in near & future.
Thus, the patrolling Blue Colts of Lake PS viz., Sri. Gopala krishna, PC 5144, Sri. Ananthaiah, HG 9634, Sri. Sridhar, HG 8449, and Smt. Sunitha, WHG 7396 have tactfully identified the above persons in a suspicious manner and rescued them from committing suicide which was done under the supervision of Smt. Sreedevi Inspector lake P.S. On that the officer & her staff will be suitably reward as a token of recognition of their good work in saving lives.
