President of India’s message on the eve of Independence Day of Guinea Bissau
The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and the people of the Republic of Guinea Bissau on the eve of their Independence Day (September 24 , 2015).
In his message to His Excellency Mr. Jose Mario Vaz, the President of the Republic of Guinea Bissau, the President has said, “On behalf of the Government, the people of India and on my own behalf, it gives me great pleasure to convey to you, and to the Government and the people of the Republic of Guinea Bissau warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day.
India and Guinea Bissau enjoy warm and friendly relations. I am confident that our bilateral ties will further strengthen in the years ahead for the mutual benefit of our two peoples.
I take this opportunity to convey my good wishes for Your Excellency's personal well-being and for the progress and prosperity of the friendly people of the Republic of Guinea Bissau.”
