NOTORIOUS ATTENTION DIVERSION GANG................

NOTORIOUS ATTENTION DIVERSION GANG OFFENDERS COMMONLY KNOWN AS RAMJI GANG OF TAMILNADU STATE WHO WERE INVOLVED IN EIGHT CASES IN HYDERABAD CITY WERE ARRESTED BY CRIME TEAM OF ABID ROAD P.S, HYDERABAD
The crime team of Abid Road Police Station who were deputed to keep a watch at shopping areas of Abids to check the movements of diverting attentions gangs have spotted the following diverting attention offenders commonly known as Ramji/Thiruchi Gangs while they were moving under suspicious circumstance at Hollywood Shoe shop, Abids Road and apprehended the following accused:
ACCUSED DETAILS:
  1. S. Prithiviraj S/o Late. Selvaraj, age 39 years, Occ: Tailor, R/o Own House No: 1/174,  Malapatti(street),Kalli Kudi(V), Srirengam(Taluka), Trichy(D), Tamilnadu,
  2. Gunaselan. Nagarjun S/o Gunaselan, age 20 years, Occ: Student, R/o Own House at  Mallapatti(Street), Kali kudi(V), Truchyarapally(M), Srirangam(D), Tamilnadu,
  3. P. Sasi kumar S/o Late. Ponan, age: 21 years, Occ: Painter, R/o Own house at Thainur  (V), Thirucharapally, Tamilnadu,

Modus Operandi:
Modus Operandi of the above said offenders is that the accused who were ganged under the leadership of Sajeev @ Sajju N/o Ramji Nagar, Tamilnadu State used to visit the main cities likes Hyderabad, Bangalore etc., and move at Big Shopping complexes and select the persons/ victims who visits to the shops by four wheelers for shopping with cash bags/brief cases etc.,. Once the gang found any cash bag or suitcases inside of the vehicle, one of the gang member drops Rs. 10/- notes infront of the car and casually inform to the driver/owner present in the car saying that their money was fell on the road. when the innocent driver/owner getdown from the car to check, whether his money lost or not and while collecting the Rs. 10/- notes, then one of the gang members used to open the door and taken away bag/suitcases available in the car and all the members escape from the spot in hire autos.

By adopting the above modus operandi the above said gang members have committed theft of brief case containing Rs. 3 Lakhs from a car near Little Flower School, Abids on 23-06-2015. The same gang members also committed similar thefts at Sagar Homeo and Methodist Complex and committed theft of Handbags containing net cash and cell phones. The same gang members further commited similar thefts in the limits of Narayanguda, Mahalkali, Panjagutta and Saifabad police station limits.

The following are the details of offences committed by above said gang.

  6. Cr.No. 422/2015 U/s 379 IPC of P.S. Narayanguda
  7. Cr.No. 757/2015 U/s 420, 379 IPC of P.S. Panjagutta
  8. Cr.No. 171/2015 U/s 379 IPC of P.S. Mahankali

In this case the following offenders are absconding:

  1. Sajeev @ Sajju S/o Jayaraman, age: 30 years, Occ: Worker in hotel, R/o Kalli Kudi, Malapatti, Srirengam Trichy, Tamilnadu 620009. (Absconding)
  2. Arumgam, age: 60 years   (Absconding)
  3. Swamy  (Absconding)
The Abids police installed the 40 CC Cameras in the limits of Abids under Community CCTV Project and in the CC cameras the above said offenders were recorded in the respective offences of Abids PS. The CCTV footages of above said offences were collected and deputed the crime team consisting PC: 7575- Sri. D. Nagaraju, PC: 4556- Sri. B. Sailoo, & PC: 5756- Sri. T. Ravi Kumar with the CCTV footages of the offenders and today i.e., on 24-05-2015 at 17.00 hours the crime team spotted the above said offenders who were moving under suspicious circumstances at Hollywood Footwear, Abids and apprehended them and prevented them from committing further offences  
The superior officers appreciated the good work done by crime team consisting PCs 1) Sri. D. Nagaraju, 2) Sri. B. Sailoo, & 3) Sri. T. Ravi Kumar of Abid Road P.S, Hyderabad.

The above case was investigated and the accused was apprehended by Sri. P. Yadagiri, Detective. Inspector of Police, Sri. P. Naresh, DSI along with the Crime staff of P.S. Abids under the supervision of Sri. K. Srinivas, Inspector of Police, Abid Road Ps, under the able guidance of Sri J. Raghavendar Reddy, ACP Abids Division and overall supervision of Sri. V.B. Kamalhansan Reddy, Dy., Commissioner of Police, Central Zone, Hyderabad.
