TWO CHEATERS NABBED BY CHADERGHAT POLICE – SEIZED 19 PASSPORTS – ONE COMPUTER – TWO MOBILE PHONES
The Police of Chaderghat Police Station, Sultan Bazar Division, East Zone, Hyderabad apprehended two accused persons namely Mohammed Abdul Gafoor, Syed Mukram who cheated the innocent people on the guise of providing job visas to work in abroad (Malasia and Saudi Arabia). They created fake visas by forging the original Names and collected huge amounts from them with the connivance of Shakeel Shaik, R/o Mumbai. The accused collected an amount of Rs. 11,20,000/- from the innocent persons by providing fake Job Visas. Police seized one computer, 19 passports, two mobile phones which were used in the commission of offence from their possession.
The details of the arrested persons:
- Mohammed Abdul Gafoor, S/o Late Mohd. Azam, age 42 years, Occ. Business, R/o visa Broker, R/o H.No.17-1-178/8/A, Sri Nagar colony, Madannapet, Hyderabad.
- Syed Mukram, S/o Syed Hameed, age 26 years, occ. Student, R/o H.No.17-1-178/8/A, Sri Nagar colony, Madannapet, Hyderabad.
To be arrested:
- Shakeel Shaik, R/o Mumbai (Absconding)
MODUS OPERANDI :
The above accused persons A1-Mohd.abdul Gafoor and his nephew (A2)Syed Mukram along with one Shakeel Shaik, N/o Mumbai formed into a team to cheat the gullible public with plea to providing Job Visas. A1- Mohammed Abdul Gafoor introduces himself as an agent to provide job visas to needy persons and get belief of the needy persons. Later he collects the passports and money for the processing visas. After collecting initial amount Syed Mukram sends the particulars to Shakeel Shaik, in return he sends the fake visas by inserting the names of the customers from whom they collected money and send the same to Mail of Gafoor. Inturn, A1-Gafoor shows the same to their customers by saying that they collected the visas for them and collects the total amount. Thus they cheat the innocent persons and so far they cheated 29 persons and collected an amount of Rs. 11,20,000/- from them.
Details of the case:
On 12-09-2015 at 1600 hrs received a complaint from Sri. Mohammed Sohail Ahmed and 4 others. Stated that One person By name Mohammed Gafoor along with his Nephew by name Mukarram cheated all of them by saying that he would send them to “BRUNEI” Malaysia and Saudi Arabia respectively and took total amount of RS 4,30,000/- by showing them fake Visas, and Tickets. After the enquiry complainant came to know that the Visas are fake. They tried to contact on his number and went to home of Mohammed Gafoor but could not find him. Hence they request to take necessary action.
On the complaint of Sri. Mohammed Sohail Ahmed and four others a case in 471/2015, U/s: 420, 471 r/w 34 IPC has been registered at Chaderghat Police Station and investigated into.
Later, on credible information the Chaderghat Police arrested the accused persons A2: Mohd. Abdul Gafoor, A3: Syed Mukram on 21-09-2015 apprehended the above accused at Sohail Hotel, Malakept and Seized one computer, 19 passports, two mobile phones, under the supervision of Sri P. Sattaiah, Inspector of Police, Chaderghat Police Station, Sri. Deeravath Hussain, Addl. Inspector of Police, Chaderghat P.S., Sri. S. Amar, Sub-Inspector of Police, Chaderghat P.S. & staff.
