As many as 2720 HAJ pilgrims...........

Hyderabad, September   4, 2015
As many as 2720 pilgrims, all clad in white Ehram have left  Hyderabad,   by eight chartered Haj flights, for Makkah en route Jeddah to perform Haj, an obligation on every Muslim who is financially, physically and mentally fit  to bear hardships  of journey. Two flights   with 680 pilgrims on board left today. Prof. S. A. Shukoor Special Officer Telangana State Haj committee   bid farewell to the pilgrims at the Haj Camp Nampa;;y and later at the Haj Terminal of Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamsabad. So far 50% of the pilgrims, all from   Telangana state, have left Hyderabad for Jeddah. The pilgrims  from Andhra Pradesh  will fly by five flights on Saturday and Sunday. 
Meanwhile Secretary to Government, Minorities Welfare Department Mr. Syed Omer Jaleel visited the Haj Camp and reviewed the arrangements made for smooth departure of Haj pilgrims from Haj Camp. He appreciated the efforts made by the Special Officer Prof. S A Shukoor and his team in carrying out the Haj operations. 
Special Officer Prof. S A Shukoor briefed him about the arrangements. Mr.   Jalaluddin Akber Director Minorities Welfare, Mr. B. Shafiullah MD Minorities Finance Corporation,  Mr.  Mohd. Asadullah CEO Wakf Board, Mr.  Syed Vilayat Hussain GM MFC  and others were present on this occasion.
