Tension in Karwan The Mysterious Stones of Phanipura

• This stone-throwing went on uninterrupted for two years. No-one was ever caught, despite the extreme lengths that Kulsumpura police went to in order to find the culprits, including round-the-clock surveillance, patrolling, constables hiding on houses and more…… It’s a mystery that remains unresolved over two years…Still the stone pelting continues….
• On getting information, a police team from Kulsumpura visited the area and with the help of the local youths started searching for the mastermind of the attack. But their efforts went in vain.
  It is not yet clear from where the stones were being thrown. Mr Mohd Sayeed, a local, said: “the attack “On last week, only one family houses are targeted. But gradually the attacks spread in the entire area and each and every house are now being targeted.” Mr Sayeed, on whose house the first case of stone pelting took place, has not ruled out the possibility of a divine spirit responsible for the attacks.
  Police, while assuring the locals of all sorts of help, said they have started an investigation into the matter. “There is nothing to panic,” said a senior police officer here
