In
order to curtail the mess of unsocial and unlawful acts of the nocturnal
activists, South Zone Police took innovate action by the way of Cordon and
Search Operation (on Intervening Night of 17/18th Oct-2015) between
00.30 to 02.30 hrs on 18-10-2015.
The
main objective behind this operation is to promote adherence to the law by
discovering and punishing persons who violate the rules and norms governing the society as well as civic
safety, protect the good
from the bad, to prop up demureness civics in old City of
Hyderabad and to make them to realize on the consequences of unlawful acts of
these nocturnal activists and to protect the public from harm, abuse,
murder and infringement/breach of personal rights, peace and order in the
society.
Total
25 armed teams involved in this operation. The search operations were conducted
by cordoning the various localities in the Police Station limits of Chandrayangutta.
During
search operations were conducted on the following Hukka centres where the
management of the Hukka Centre allowing the younger generation customers in
late nights for their personal benefits/profits/gains and during the search
around 230 nocturnal were rounded up. But most of them were escaped from the
legal custody of the police.
The
main intension of the police is to call their parents and to conduct the
counselling in the presence their parents so that the parents will come to know
the late night activities of their children in the Hukka Centre. The name and address particulars are
available with the police and the cases are being registering against them who
escaped from the lawful custody of police.
The
Inspector and Addl. Inspectors of Police of Chandrayangutta PS are being dealt
with the charge Memo for their negligence.

Hukka Centres allowing their customers in late night swimming on battings and
some of the hukka parlours were also allowing their customers playing snookers
during late nights on battings.
There are clear guidelines of the
Hon’ble High Court that the Hookah centres shall not be kept open beyond 11 pm
for its customers and that they must necessarily exhibit the sign board that
they are hookah centre besides exhibiting the notice board that children below
the age of 18 are not liable to be entertained as guests, even for consumption
of coffee and to installs video cameras, either open or concealed, records its
operations and also undertakes to preserve the recordings for a minimum of
fifteen days period, so that the police, in case of suspicion or necessity, can
replay the footage and examine as to whether any undesirable elements or
juveniles are frequenting the hookah centres, the petitioner hookah centre may
be permitted to carry on its operation. Thus
the owners of the Hukka Parlours violated the principal norms in running the Hukka
centres. Cases are registering against
the owners of the Hukka Centres and all the Hukka centres were seized.
Similar search operations were
conducted on the owners of horse stable as there were compliant from the teen
girls that the raiders of horses were rude and cruel manner towards them. Police has no objection for giving horses on
hire for the marriage Baraat purpose. Police is only concern to stop the mess
of creating nuisance on the roads, teasing the girls etc. In this connection police
has given counselling to the owners of the horses to stop giving horses to the
youths for raiding.
