10,000 vacancies in police department would.......

Irrigation Minister T. Harish Rao on Monday announced that the notification to fill 10,000 vacancies in police department would be issued soon.

Speaking to media persons at Narayankhed of Medak district, Harish Rao said 9,200 posts of Constables and 800 posts of Sub-Inspectors would be filled soon. He said for the first time in the country, the State Government has provided separate quota for women in the recruitment in police department. He said that the government would also provide pre-recruitment training to youth across the State.

Harish Rao said that the Narayankhed was one of the most backward area of Telangana State. He appealed to the people to strengthen Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao to develop their region. He announced that two market yards would be constructed in Narayankhed. Further, the 100-bedded hospital would be upgraded to 150 beds. All households will be provided tapped water supply at a cost of Rs. 870 crore. A Post Graduate College would be started from the next academic year. He also announced that the establishment of a 30-bedded hospital in Palhar and Munnur
