Telangana accident: 18 killed, 15 injured as bus collides with lorry in Nalgonda
At least 18 people were killed and 15 injured after a bus collided with a lorry in Ramannapeta of Nalgonda district.
At least 18 people were killed and 15 injured when a bus collided with a lorry at Ramannapeta in Nalgonda district of Telangana on Wednesday, said reports.
One side of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) bus was completely mangled. The driver was among those killed in the mishap.
The cause of the accident is yet to be ascertained. According to reports, efforts were on to rescue the passengers still inside the bus.The injured have reportedly been taken to a hospital in Hyderabad.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao expressed his grief over the incident.
