As many as 42 tourists were injured when somebody stirred the honey bee nest.
The incident took place at Kinnerasani reservoir in Khammam district on Saturday.
In a bid to enjoy the beauty of the reservoir, the tourists fromdifferent places made a bee line to the picturesque reservoiron dwnews Saturday and their joy turned bitter as hundreds of bees attacked them.
The bees bit and hurt about 42 visitors. The injured were shifted to Palwoncha government hospital.
Some of them received grievous injuries in the bee attack, reports said.
