SOUTH ZONE POLICE CONDUCTED CARDON AND SEARCH OPERATION
To promoting Safety & Security in City of Hyderabad, a sustained drive has been initiated to control the unlawful activities of the rowdies and to locate criminals who have been continually indulging into unlawful acts and also to shelter homes of the absconding offenders and in order to create a sense of safety and security in the minds of public in Hyderabad, South Zone Police of Hyderabad City Police Commissionerate has untiringly and carefully initiated and instigated a legal combat against fanatic crime in the city.
Hyderabad City Police has focused on some of the key areas and persistently striving heard to locate the criminals for the enduring annihilation of fanatic crime from the society including, arresting of the hardcore criminals and registering cases against the fanatical rowdy sheeters, illegal financers, eve teasers of the city of Hyderabad.
Due to the continuous emphasis of the occurrence chain snatchings in Hyderabad and Cyberabad limits a disarray has been created in the minds of common citizens especially in woman folk by the snatching offenders.
To control such mess in the city, South Zone Police conducted surprise Cordon and Search operation in the early hours on 5th Oct-2015 to locate / roundup the old offenders and non locals for verification of their complicity with the related offences.
Search operation was conducted by means of vigilant process by assigning dedicated (15) different teams headed by the Inspector/ Addl. Inspector of police along with one video camera party in entire south zone area to locate the non locals ( Belongs to other state), old offenders, suspects of property offenders etc.
Accordingly 52 old offenders (16 in Charminar Division, 22 in Mirchowck, 11 in Falaknuma Division and 3 in Santosh Nagar Division) were located, captivating issue is; among 52 old offenders, there are 9 old snatching offenders. All 54 persons were rounded up for verification of their complicity with the CCS / CCRB records. Likewise, 40 other local suspects and 68 Non Locals who belongs to other parts of the nation (21 West Bangal, 29 Bihar, 2 Maharastra, 1 Uttar Pradesh ) and 15 Bharmis were also rounded up.
All 160 persons were referred to CCS to obtain finger prints and to probe, comparison, check the complicity of them with their records regarding any involvement in the criminal cases.
Apart from above suspect, total 91 vehicles were detained for non availability of vehicle documents with user of the vehicles. Action will be initiated against the err user of the vehicles based on the verification of the documents and finding of the investigation.
Further, V. Satyanarayana, IPS DCP South Zone speaking to media, said that the safety and security of the public are the prime important and accordingly two anti snatching teams consisting of 2 Inspectors, 4 SIs along with 20 PCs has been formed to curtail snatching offences and to detect the cases. To achieve/gain the confidence of the public, South Zone Police is striving hard to control the unlawful acts of the activists and will increase the operation chabutra in a vigorous manner, surprise cordon and search operation will be carried out to curtail the activities of chain snatchers.
