Pigeons stuffed in rockets and fired at Congress function in Andhra

A shocking video has surfaced in which Congress workers in Andhra Pradesh's Kovvuru town have done something that should perhaps put humanity to shame. The rockets went up and the pigeons fell dead, roasted in the intense heat of the cracker fire high above.
In the video, the pigeons were seen being stuffed into paper cones and sealed tight. The intention was to see the cracker burst high in the sky and the pigeons fly free. But the intense heat produced by the cracker burst killed the birds and they fell to the ground.
An NGO - People For Animals has filed a complaint with the police and a FIR has been lodged against the state Congress unit citing cruelty to animals. However, the local Congress unit is yet to comment on the matter.
