ARREST
OF ONE WANTED ACCUSED ALIM UL ISLAM MANDAL NATIVE OF WEST BENGAL
In
continuation of the investigation in a case of SIT, Hyderabad City where 4 illegal immigrants of Bangladesh and
Myanmar nationals and two local brokers were arrested on 14-08-2015, and
subsequent arrests of two more wanted accused/illegal immigrants on 21-08-2015
and 24-08-2015. As a part of investigation, a team is deputed to Cherlapally
jail on regular intervals to keep a close vigil on persons coming for meeting
the arrested persons during Mulaquaths, in this case as well as in other cases,
As a part of investigation, on
15-10-2015 afternoon the team consisting Sri K. Syamala Rao, Inspector SIT
assisted by M. Kameswaran, SI and PC 8408 K. Ramakrishna of SIT were deputed to Cherlapally Jail, where they
apprehended the wanted accused ALIM UL ISLAM MANDAL S/o Late
Mahizuddin Mandal age 28 years Occ: Labour N/o Baltha village, Dakshin Dinajpur
District, West Bengal when he came to Charlapally Jail to meet one of the
accused by name Mohd Nasir in Mulaquath.
Mohd Nasir and Alim Ul Islam
Mandal worked together in a Blanket Factory at Panipat and they along with
others decided to start a madrasa to impart Jehadi training. In the interrogation report Nasir (A1) has stated that he along with Alim Ul Islam
Mandal and another person had conspired
to construct a madrasa to impart Jehadi Training. Alim Ul Islam
therefore came to Hyderabad to meet Nasir for charting out further plans for
their unlawful activities.
