The family of Mohammad Ikhlaq was moved to the secured premises of Indian Air Force establishment in New Delhi-Subroto Park. Sources said the family moved to the Capital on Tuesday and are housed in a government flat near Dhaula Kuan.
Ikhlaq's son Sartaj is an airman and IAF chief Arup Raha had offered full support to his family.
Meanwhile, after being on a hospital bed for more than five days, Sartaj's brother, 22-year-old Danish, took his first step on Tuesday.
The youth was grievously injured in the Dadri mob attack which killed his father.
Danish was admitted to the ICU of Kailash Hospital. "He walked four-five steps in the morning. The boy is extremely strong and responding fast to the medications. We are monitoring his situation and hoping to shift him to the ward in the next one or two days," Dr Varun Bhargav, neurosurgeon from Kailash Hospital, told
Holding the hand of his brother Sartaj, Danish walked from one bed to another.
