The Shamshabad Police have arrested six persons here on Monday
who are extorting money from the rice business holders while they are
transporting the rice to various places. The accused are impersonating
as Police and Press and putting the drivers and owners in fear and
threatenig them with dire consequences and extorting huge money.
Previously the accused persons extorted cash from the rice business
holder at Parigi Road, Ashiana Hotel, Shadnagar and APPA Junction Toll
Gate.
