63rd Vanya Prani Saptah celebrated at NZP, Hyd.
Today 63rd Vanya Prani Saptah celebrated at NZP, Hyd in this connection several events were organised like drawing,/painting,quiz, elocution and photography.More than 300 students including students from Deaf and Dumb and mentally retarded from different schools were participated in the events. Prizes were distributed to the winners.
In the evening Sri Rajeswar Tiwari, Prl.Chief Secretary to Govt.,EFS&T, inaugurated the souvenir shop and celebrated the 30th birthday of Sacred Baboon (Shiva) and Vruksha Prasadam also started. Free distribution of plants like Tulasi, Usiri, Parijatam etc. to the visitors during the Vanya Prani Saptah celebrations in the presence of Sri P.K.Sharma, IFS, Prl.Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF), Telangana State, Dr.G.Chandra Shekar Reddy,IFS, CCF/CF, Wildlife Management Circle, Hyderabad, Sri G.Ravi, SFS, Curator, NZP, Hyd. Speaking on the occasion with the media persons, at a press meet organised at NZP, Hyd Sri Tiwari said that more than 1 crore plants will be distributed freely to the visitors during the Vanya Prani Saptah celebrations 2015 and all over Telangana State. Every year more than 35 lakh visitors are visiting to NZP, Hyd which is equal to the pilgrims visiting to Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam.
