I-T dept, SBI seek to be party to case against AgriGold

In an interesting development, the income tax (I-T) department and the SBI on Monday urged the Hyderabad High Court to implead them in the ongoing hearing of a public interest petition against AgriGold that allegedly defrauded depositors to the tune of Rs 7,000 crore in AP, Telangana and Karnataka.
