Renaming of Aurangzeb Road................

Renaming of Aurangzeb Road by NDA Govt is to create hatredness among communities and provoke Muslims-MBT Demands to restoring of Aurangzeb Road name:

MBT Leader Amjed Ullah Khan said the renaming of Aurangzeb Road by APJ Abdul Kalam name is a very clear gimmick by NDA Govt to creat hatredness among communities. Mr Khan said the Sangh Parivar has been trying to rename several roads, parks and Govt establishments since beginning and after Modi came to power one organisation by name Shiv Sena Hindustan blackened sing boards of four roads  Sardar Hashmi Marg, Firozshah Road, Akbar Road and Aurangzeb Road,Mr Khan said that Renaming Aurangzeb Road with Dr. Kalam is just an eye-wash Mr Khan said that BJP Govt is showing its hatred towards Aurangzeb and common Muslims. Mr Khan said that Aurangzeb had ruled India for almost 50 Years and he might have done both good and bad things to stay in Power but we cannot erase entire 50 years from our history. Mr Khan said when Sonia Gandhi can be treated as an Indian and Talima Nasreen can be given asylum in India then Then why doubts are still raised on nationality of Aurangzeb.Mr Khan said that Aurangzeb died in 1707and renaming a road on his name after three centuries will not affect Aurangzeb but this can only satisfy the egos of Sangh Parivar and will provoke the sentiments of Muslims. Mr Khan questioned Mr Modi that if he is having so grudge with Muslims of India and previous rulers then why he is using a Building “Parliament” which was built during the British rulers and why he has unfurling the National Flag from Red Fort (Lal Qila) which has been built by a Muslim rulers.

Mr Khan demanded that if Mr Modi is so concerned about A P J Abdul Kalam then he should name any missile or scholarship to Muslims in the name of A P J Abdul Kalam.Mr Khan said that no doubt APJ Kalam services cannot be compared to any citizens but Mr Modi should remember that even Kalam was also a Muslim.
