Press release on prohibitory orders at SECRETARIAT 500 meters  at gates

NOTIFICATION

  With a view to maintain public order, peace and tranquility in the area known as Andhra Pradesh and Telangana  Secretariats, Hyderabad in the limits of Saifabad Police Station,  together with the offices located within the premises of the A.P. and Telangana  Secretariats including the gates leading to the offices and also areas falling upto a distance of 500 meters from secretariat building perimeter,  I, M.Mahendar Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, in exercise of the powers vested in me under  Sec 22 of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli,  do hereby make this written order and notify the same to the general public prohibiting the following matters :-

1. The holding of any public meeting;
2. Assembly of five or more persons;
3. Carrying the fire arms, banners, placards, lathis, spears, swords, sticks, brickbats, etc;

4. Shouting of slogans;

5. Making of speeches, etc;

6. Processions and demonstration; and

7. Picketing or dharnas within the area specified in the schedule to this order without a written permission.

          As the order cannot be served practicably on each individual and all concerned, the order is hereby passed ex-parte and the same is published for the information of general public through press and by affixing copies of this order on the notice boards of the offices of all the DCsP, ACsP and all Police Stations concerned and other places for conveying the information to the general public.

    This order shall be in force with effect from 0600 hours on 19-09-2015 and shall remain in force for a period of two months i.e. upto 0600 hours on 18-11-2015 (both days inclusive),  unless withdrawn earlier.

   Any person violating the order shall be liable for punishment under section 188 of the Indian Penal code and as per the provisions of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.
