PRESS NOTE

LAKE POLICE RESCUED A MAN FROM COMMITING SUICIDE

              On 18-09-2015 at around 15.10 hours PS Lake rescued a man Sri. Samudhrala. Srinivas s/o S. Bhaskar, Age:- 32 Years from committing suicide in Hussain Sagar.  The particulars of the rescued man are as follow :-

• NAME:- Samudhrala. Srinivas s/o S. Bhaskar, age:- 32 years, occ:- auto driver, r/o:- Durga nagar, Malkajgiri, hyd.

• On causing enquiry with the victim it is disclosed that the victim is married person and having two children, he is an alcoholic and quarrels with his wife regularly. Today morning also he took alcohol, on seeing that his wife got angry and started quarrelling with him, due to which he got angry and came to tank bund in a fully drunken condition and taught of committing suicide.

• By taking hasty decision, he came to upper tankbund near lepakshi and tried to jump into the lake water to commit suicide. Immediately, the available patrolling lake police noticed the victim under suspicious manner and timely reached and stopped him from jumping into the Lake.

• Inspector Lake Smt. K. Sreedevi counselled him, after counselling I called brother & friend to PS and handed over to them.

• Thus, the patrolling Petro car of Lake PS Sri. Santosh, PC 5686 and Sri. Sai krishna, HG 7488  have tactfully identified the victim in a suspicious stage and rescued him from committing suicide, which was done under the supervision of Smt. Sreedevi, Inspector of lake P.S. On that, the officer along with her staff will be suitably rewarded as a token of recognition of their good work in saving a life.
