‘Needle psycho’ strikes again; injects a man with poisonous material
The needle psycho (or psychos), who has been reported to be attacking people with syringes, has now apparently struck again in two separate incidents. On Monday, two more people were attacked – one is an LIC employee and the other a farmer – stated the police.
The LIC employee, Swamy Naik, was struck at LB Nagar when he was at a bus stand by a person while the farmer, K Veeraiah, was allegedly attacked by three men who came in an autorickshaw at Kodada, Nalgonda district.
Naik was struck on his leg and he apparently went to a near-by hospital and got first aid. However, the farmer is reported to have fainted after the attack and was rushed to the hospital. It looks like he was injected with poisonous material. He is in hospital and out of danger.
The two incidents have occurred in two completely different areas in the state. The LB Nagar police and Kodada Rural SI G. Charamanda Raju are trying to locate the ‘needle psychos’.
