National level judo player gangraped by 2 men, one accused arrested
A national level judo player was allegedly gang-raped by two men here on Tuesday morning in Gurgaon
The class 11 student and her friend, who is also a judo athlete, were returning home after meeting their coach when two men stopped them. The men, who were from a neighbouring village, offered to drop them home on their bikes.
As per the written complaint of the survivor to the police, they dropped her friend and later drugged her, took her to an isolated spot and raped her. They threatened her that they would kill her if she did not keep quiet about the incident and then dropped her home.
The girl told her relatives about the incident after which they took her to the police station.
One of the accused has been arrested after the case was registered at the Women Police Station in Gurgaon.
