ACB raids on SPDCL engineer’s properties
Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) sleuths conducted simultaneous searches on the properties and offices of a TSSPDCL divisional engineer and unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 5 crore on Tuesday
ACB teams, led by DSP J Ashok Kumar, raided the residence of B Sridhar, divisional engineer electrical (operations), TSSPDCL, North Circle, Medchal, RR district, at Balkampet, his parents' house at Sircilla, his relatives' houses in Karimnagar and Balkampet and his office in Medchal.
During the searches, the ACB sleuths unearthed disproportionate assets worth Rs 5 crore (documentary value Rs 2 crore), including a G+3+pent house building at Balkampet, a G+3 house, two plots in Sircilla, a shop and three plots in Karimnagar, a Ford EcoSport car, a bike, 1.5 kg gold, 1.5 kg silver, Rs 15 lakh worth LIC policies, Rs 3.5 lakh postal recurring deposits, Rs 14 lakh bank balance, Rs 5.8 lakh cash and household articles worth Rs 7 lakh.
The engineer was arrested and remanded in judicial custody.
