Two Maoists gunned down in Telangana
In a tough gun battle between the police and the Maoists, two hardcore Maoists were killed at the forest area in Warangal district of Telangana. In the exchange of fire, which lasted for more than four hours, a woman Maoist was also killed. However, no causalities occurred on the police side.
The gun battle started around 6 am on Tuesday after police came face to face with the guerrillas during a combing operation in Vengalapur forests in Tadwai mandal of Warangal district.
