BRIEF FACTS OF DECOITY


This is a case of Dacoity committed by the inter-state notorious gang hailing from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Tamilnadu and Uttar Pradesh states by showing fire arms in Muthoot Finance, RC Reddy Nagar Branch, RC Puram which occurred on 28-12-2016 between 0915 hours and 0935 and reported on the same date at 1030 hours where in the FIVE accused persons entered the branch by wearing traffic police uniform, safari dresses, posing as the officials of CBI, wielding fire arms and robbed gold jewellery weighing about 41.8 KGs and net cash Rs 91,863/-.
The place of offence is the branch office of Muthoot Finance situated at RC Reddy Nagar of Ramachandra puram which falls under the limits of RC Puram Police Station, Madhapur zone, Cyberabd Commissionerate.

MODUS OPERANDI 
   On 28-12-2016 at about 0915 hours a person who wore Traffic constable dress aged about 35-40 years entered the branch office along with the security guard on duty. He was followed by four other persons, out of which one person was clad in safari suit, one person dressed like a Sardar with Safari dress, one person in formal dress with jungle cap, one masked person looking like a thief. All are in the age group of 35-40 years. The person who dressed like a Traffic constable spoke in Hindi saying that they are CBI Officers and came from Delhi. The person dressed like a Sardarji showed the person wearing monkey cap as a thief and said that he has mortgaged the stolen jewellery in the said branch besides indulging in fraud with Muthoot branches by converting black money in to white. Sardarji like person collected their phones by showing weapon besides asking them to kneel down. While Sardarji was guarding the employees, the Safari dress wearing person and the person wearing formal dress with jungle cap collected strong room keys from the lady employee and the Branch Manager and collected the jewellery by opening the almirahs. Tet emptied the three back pack bags of the employees and filled them with the jewellery. The person wearing formal dress went outside and brought one bag and a multi-colour blanket and filled them with the gold ornaments. The thief who has removed his mask subsequently enquired about the DVRs and took the two DVRs. The person wearing formal dress sprayed perfume on the almirahs and locker. Later they have the employees in the bath room by bolting the door from out-side and went away.
HOW POLICE SEQUENCED THE RETREAT ROUTE OF THE OFFENDERS THROUGH CCTV FOOTAGES
During the course of investigation, Inspectors of CCS, Balanagar, SHOs Dundigal, Balanagar, KPHB and CI, Chevella, SIs Shabad and Inspector, RC Puram visited Patancheru, Sangareddy, Shankarpally, Vikarabad, Parigi, Kodangal, Ribbanpally Check Post, Sedam, Shabad and Chittapur of Karnataka and collected CCTV footages and verified the footages and on verification it has been observed that at the time of offence one black colour Scorpio vehicle was parked in front of Muthoot Finance near Minar Steel traders, and after the offence, the offenders boarded the said Scorpio having in possession the bags and luggage and the same Scorpio left towards Patncheru, Novopan Junction, Shankarpally, Vikarabad, Pargi, Kodangal, Ribbanpally Check Post, Sedam and Chittapur with AP Registration Number plate AP-28-N-3107 and it appeared that the same offenders travelled in the said vehicle along the route.
