Mumbai police arrest three persons for raping and murdering minor:

The Mumbai police on Saturday arrested three persons for allegedly raping and murdering a four-year-old girl in Bhayander near Mumbai. One of the accused is still at large.
The body of the girl was found in a swamp on January 12. The accused have been identified as Mohammed Younus Haji Mohanmed Bashir Shah alias Zero, Mohammed Rozan Ishaq Raini alias Langda (who is differently-abled), Jitendra Rai and Rajesh (who is absconding), all of them reportedly aged 22-25.
According to Navghar police, on January 9, the main accused, Shah, lured the minor with chocolates and took her to a desolate location where the others were waiting.
Shah, who was reportedly known to the girl's family, raped her while the three gagged her and pinned her to the ground. They later hit the victim with an iron object on her head, leading to her immediate death, the police further added.
The men, after the murder dumped the victim's body in a swamp, and went to a nearby restaurant to have fish and rice, according to TV reports.
The deceased was a resident of Azad Nagar in Bhayander (East) and her father is a truck driver.
The three have been booked under the charges of rape, kidnapping and destroying evidence and relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012. They will be produced before the Thane court on Sunday.
