LAKE POLICE RESCUED TWO PERSONS i.e., ONE MALE AND ONE FEMALE FROM COMMITING SUICIDE ON UPPER TANKBUND
On the 18/19-10-2016 Lake Police Officials rescued two persons i.e., one male and one female persons from committing suicide by jumping into Husain Sagar Lake near upper tankbund. The details of the above persons are as below:
- Sri. Mohammed. Khaja pasha s/o Sri. Mohammed. Musthafa, age:- 29 years, occ:- Lorry mechanic, r/o:- 4-2-27/3, Hassan nagar, rajendra nagar, R.R. dist.
- Smt. A. Parvathi w/o Sri. A. Madhusudhan, age:- 40 years, occ:- hosewife, r/o:- muggu basthi, kavadhi guda, Gandhi nagar, hyderabad.
On causing enquiry with the first victim, it came to know that the victim last month his elder brother met with an accident, he got expired. Because of his elder brother’s death the victim went into depression. Due to which he fed up on his life and decided to commit suicide and came to upper tankbund near children’s park and tried to jump into the lake water. Immediately the available police saved his life. Inspector Lake, Smt. K. Sreedevi counselled him and handed over to his brother and suggested them to consult a psychiatrist for the treatment.
On enquiry with the second victim Smt. A. Parvathi. She is a married person and blessed with two children. Leading conjugal life happily. The victim’s husband has got loss in his business. Now they are unable to pay collage fee of their children and facing financial problems. Due to that she went into depression and decided to end her life and came to upper tankbund and tried to jump into the lake water. Immediately our patrolling Lake police saved her life. Inspector Lake, Smt. K. Sreedevi counselled both the wife and husband and send them to Barosa counselling centre for further action.
Lake Police played a vital role in saving the above two persons spontaneously without giving any scope for untoward incidents for which they could saved the lives of people. The above two incidents were occurred on 18/19-10-2016. Smt. K. Sreedevi, Inspector of Police, Lake Police Station counselled them promptly and the women was sent to Barosa counselling centre further action and the other was handed over to his brother.
The Blue Colts of Lake PS viz., Sri. B. Krishna, PC 7384, Sri. C. Sai kiran, PC 4295, Sri. B. Ravi, HG 7844 and Sri. P. Narsimhulu, HG 2131, have tactfully identified the above persons in a suspicious manner and rescued them from committing suicide under the close supervision of Smt. K. Sreedevi, Inspector of Police, Lake Police Station.
