The 'Dawn-to-Dusk' service proposed by the Registration and Stamps
Department in the city will be functioning from August 17. Initially,
the services would be introduced at Marredpally and Bowenpally Sub
Registrar Offices (SRO) ona pilot basis. While the Bowenpally office
would work in the morning shift from 8 am to 2.30 pm, the Marredpally office would work from 2.30pm to 9 pm for the convenience of residents.
According to Hyderabad District Registrar S Ashok, the services are useful for office-goers, who can avail of the property registration and other services before leaving for office or after their office hours. He said that the existing ‘Anywhere Registration scheme would be applicable to the two SROs as well. He said that people could also avail of theservices of all the offices of registration district such as Hyderabad, Chikkadpally, Secunderabad, Marredpally or Bowenpally for availing the anywhere registration scheme.
Meanwhile, the department would also commence the online registration services for the convenience of its consumers. Consumers can register their basic details pertaining to registration of their properties by enjoying the comforts of their home instead of undertaking the herculean task of visiting the SROs.
