The sleuths of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Wednesday raided the residences of Jangaon Deputy Superintendent of Police Kura Surender.
Surender was accused of possessing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income. The raids were conducted simultaneously on his residences at Hyderabad, Hanamkonda, Narsampet and Jangaon.
ACB DSP R Saibaba informed that during the raids they have found half kilo gold ornaments, one kilo silver, Rs 8.18 cash, documents related to four flats in residential apartments, four house sites and two houses at his Balasamudram residence i Hanamkonda.
The ACB officials also found Rs 67,000 cash along with 14 foreign liquor bottles at his residence in Jangaon, besides Rs 65 lakhs worth promissory notes related to the money lent to several persons.
