Rs 50 monthly to be GHMC garbage lifting charges
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is likely to fix Rs 50 per house per month as garbage collection charges once the 2,500 tippers become operational and the waste collection starts.
As of now, colonies are paying between Rs 50 and Rs 100 per month per house. The corporation has planned to fix a rate which will be paid to the garbage collectors on a monthly basis with no additional charges unless the resident voluntarily pays extra.
