TV21 NEWS : Two fraudsters in police net..
Two fraudsters were apprehended by Cyberabad police during a regular
check in city. Several SIM cards and mobile phones have been seized from
their possession.
Police alsoseized Rs 11,000 in cash apart from 12 mobile phones, 30
unused SIMs, 32 used SIMs, 12 debit cards, 8 PAN cards, 18 voter cards, 9
cheque books, one Honda shine motorcycle and photographs of the
applicants.
The accused Shaik Jani (23) and K Anil (24) have been fooling several
job aspirants by making promises of a supervisor job in biscuit
factories with salaries starting fromRs 18,000 and Rs 25,000.
They were produced in court on Monday
and efforts are on to apprehend two other accused persons.They were
apprehended by police during a regular check.
According to police officials, the accused persons opened abank account
and gave advertisement seeking applications besides seeking depositsof
Rs 1,000 from several aspirants.
They duped about 2,000 unemployed youth. Medipally police informed that
other absconding accused were S Swathi and V Srija, who aided the duo in
calling and following up the aspirants. They used to frequently change
the SIM cards to get rid of the applicants who deposit the demanded
money.
