14 injured as students clash in Hyderabad engineering college..
Two groups of Telugu and Bihari students of a private engineering college clashed over marks resulting in injuries to 14 of them on Thursday at Batasingaram of Hayathnagar on city outskirts.
The injured were shifted to hospital. .
Trouble started when a group of Telugu students hailing from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States picked up an argument with some students of the college hailing from Bihar over the issue of marks in exams.
All of them were second year students of Narayana Engineering College which was being managed by Nova Group now. Dwnews "Some Telugu students attacked the Bihar students who alerted their classmates residing in nearby hostel," the Hayathnagar ACP V. Bhaskar said.
The students from Bihar rushed to college and retaliated.
One of the clashing students jumped from first floor of the building and sustained bleeding wounds. Cases of assault were registered against both the groups.
