Aadhaar seeding stopped. .
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued instructions to all the States and Union territories to stop all activities related to collection, feeding and seeding of Aadhaar number with voter ID card with immediate effect in compliance with the order of the Supreme Court.
Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal said that the voters’ list purification activity will be continued with issuing of notices in case of duplicate, shifted, ineligible voters.
