Three (3) IPS Probationers of 2014 batch (67 RR) Sri Rahul Hegde of Karnataka State, Smt. Sindhu Sharma of Telangana State and Sri Sunil Dutt of Uttarakhand, who were allotted to Telangana State Cadre and undergoing three weeks practical training at RBVRR TSPA from 14.12.2015 have called on the Hon’ble Governor of TS & AP States Shri E.S.L.Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan today i.e. on 02.01.2016. The Hon’ble Governor, who is an Ex IPS Officer while interacting with IPS Probationers, shared his distilled wisdom recalling his experiences when he was in service. Speaking on Trust and Loyalty factors he emphasized the need of having a positive attitude towards profession & empathy towards people. The Governor stressed upon need to understanding the practical problems of subordinates in order to extract quality of work from them. He suggested the trainee officers that the political interference is expected in a democratic set up but advised them not to go beyond law. He also called upon not to neglect the personal life and try to spend minimum time with family members which not only is a great satisfaction to the family members but one can perform his duty also well. He told the trainee officers to feel proud of joining the Police Service and stated that Police plays a significant role in ensuring the internal security of the Nation. Talking about the Public confidence, the Governor reiterated that in newly formed state like Telangana, public will have lot of hopes on the newly joined Civil Service Officers. The Telangana State Govt. has been providing lot of facilities to police department and everyone should work up to the expectations of the people & Govt. in maintaining peace and order. 2 | P a g e Prior to interaction, Smt. D.Kalpana Nayak, IPS, DIG and Joint Director (Trg.), TSPA introduced the trainee officers to the Governor and explained the training schedule and topics on which they were imparted training. On completion of practical training, a valedictory function of IPS Probationers was conducted at RBVRR Telangana State Police Academy in the evening attended by Dr. Ish Kumar, IPS, Director, TSPA as Chief Guest. Dr. Ish Kumar, IPS, Director, TSPA while addressing the trainee officers emphasized the need of having Leadership Qualities, Decision Making, People Friendly Policing and continuous updation of knowledge on laws and procedures from time to time and wished them all success in their career.
