In view of forthcoming GHMC elections
Today static surveillance team and local police of rajendranagar intercepted one
Tata Sumo vehicle at Athapur carrying 77lakhs of net cash and brought to police station.
On enquiry it has come to know that the vehicle belonging to brinks India pvt Ltd.
The authorities carrying cash to load the amount into ATM of Karur vysya bank and
bank of India at mehadipatnam and Athapur. After detail enquiry with concerned officials
the amount has been handed over to them.
Yesterday we have seized an amount of rs 1,90,300 net cash from one driver Harichandrareddy
of oil agency who did not account for it and which belonging to srinivas oil agency.Then
the amount and person handed over to income tax department for further action.
All are requested whoever carry more than 50 thousands amount they should carry all relevant
documents otherwise the amount will be seized.
