LAKE POLICE RESCUED FOUR PERSONS FROM COMMITING SUICIDE

On 1st of January 2016 at 11.45 hours PS Lake rescued a women and her three children i.e. 1) Smt. Afrin and 2) Afsia (4 years), 3) Alina (2 years), 4) Syed Jamil (4 months) from committing suicide in Hussain Sagar. The particulars of the rescued man are as follow:-

• NAME:- Smt. Afrin w/o Sri. Syed Amir, age:- 22 years, occ:- housewife, r/o:- old bowenpally, Hyderabad. And her three children i.e., 1) Asia (4 years), 2) Alina (2 years), 3) Syed Jamil (4 months)

• On causing enquiry the victim revealed that she performed love marriage with Syed Amir in the year 2011 and blessed with three children i.e., 1) Asia (4 years), 2) Alina (2 years), 3) Syed Jamil (4 months). After marriage they were sent out from their house. Leading conjugal life happily. From last two years the victim’s husband started consuming alcohol daily and after that use to bet for every petty issues and he also suspects her character. As usually last night also he went to home in fully drunken condition and started quarrelling with her and bet her black and blue. She unable the torture and came to tankbund along with her three near children’s park and tried to jump into the lake water.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               

• By taking hasty decision, he came to upper tankbund near children’s park in the morning hours at about 11.45 hours and tried to jump into the Hussain Sagar lake water to commit suicide. Immediately, the patrolling lake police noticed the victim under suspicious manner and timely reached and saved four lives.
• Inspector Lake K. Sreedevi counseled her, after that called husband to Lake PS counseled them and send them to CCS women police station along with one PC and one WHG for further action.
• Thus, the patrolling BC of Lake PS Sri. Sudhakar babu, PC 4560 and Sri. Sridhar, HG 8449 have tactfully identified the victim & her Three children and rescued him from committing suicide, which was done under the supervision of Smt. Sreedevi Inspector lake P.S. On that the officer will be suitably reward to them as a token of recognition of their good work in saving a life.
