CYBERABAD SHE TEAMS DURING THE LATEST FORTNIGHT.

During the last three weeks, we have received 86 complaints from women victims by different means.  All complaints have been acted upon and disposed of on merits.

• 20 cases have been booked in Cyberabad commissionerate out of which 16 are specific criminal cases under IPC and 4 Petty Cases.  24 Awareness programmes at hot spots, bus stops and community gatherings  have been held which were attended by about 6,700 persons.

• 6 Decoy operations have been organized at hot spots such as bus stops, malls, railway stations, tutorial colleges, etc.,

• Counselling was held on 22.06.2017 at CAW cell, Cyberabad which was attended by 10 respondents

• The details of few important cases are as follows:

1. On 28-06-2017 at 1600 hours received a petition from one woman of  Shameerpet village stating that she is working as receptionist prior to her marriage at Narayana e-Techno School in the year 2012, at that time her colleague working as a accountant in the same office became friend with her. During their friendship he took photos with her. Later he created fake facebook account on her name and started making friends with her relatives on behalf of her name. Later she got married and the accused took her husband’s cell number and made friendship with his brother and started blackmailing her that he will reveal her friendship matter to her in-law’s and demanded her gold or else he will upload her photos in social media. Hence she approached the she team. A case has been registered, the accused arrested and remanded to the judicial custody.

2. On 06.07.2017 at 1500 received a written petition from one woman of KPHB, in which she stating that she is working in security group at Forum mall, KPHB and she resides in woman’s hostel at KPHB colony. On 04.07.2017 she went to Bhojanam Restaurant to meet her relative, who is working in that restaurant at about 2130 hours she requested to him drop her at her hostel, so he went to take permission from his madam meantime the accused came to her and forcibly taken her to under the steps and attempted to commit sexual assault by touching her private parts. Hence she approached the she team A case has been registered and the accused arrested and remanded to the judicial custody.
