TWO PERSONS HELD-SEIZED 400 KG MILK POWDER PACKETS AND 500 KGS  RAW MATERIAL.

               On 11-02-2017, on credible information the Commissioner’s Task Force, South Zone Team, Hyderabad city conducted simultaneous raids on two adulterated milk powder units located Madannapet and Saidabad Police Stations limits.  Apprehended two accused persons namely 1) Mohd Saleem and 2). Mohd Arif and seized 400 kgs of “Dholpur Fresh” and “Paliwal” spray dried skimmed milk powder and 500 KGs Raw material from the possession of accused persons.

Details of the accused Persons :-

1. Mohd Saleem, aged about: 45 yrs, R/o.HNo. 17-2-714/28, Madannapet, Hyderabad

2. Mohd Arif S/o. Mohd Yahya, aged: 55 yrs, R/o. Madannapet, near P.S. Madannapet, Hyderabad.   

Seized Property :-

1. 400- Packets containing “Dholpur Fresh” and “Paliwal” spray dried skimmed milk powder (each packet wg 1 KG).
2. 500 Kgs raw material.

The brief facts of the case are that, the accused persons were found indulged in procuring branded “Dholpur Fresh” spray dried skimmed milk powder in polythene packets from the Market each Kg per Rs 300/- and after opening the said packets they are mixing the same with adulterated milk powder purchased on low price for Rs 50/- to 60/- per kg and sugar powder.  Again, refilling the mixed adulterated milk powder in printed polythene covers obtained by them on their own orders from various printing press shops by got printing the brand name as “Dholpur Fresh” spray dried skimmed milk powder.  Later, selling the same adulterated milk powder to the needy customers in their shops on higher price for Rs 250/- to 300/- by made believing the innocent customers as genuine products and earning easy money illegally.   

     The arrested accused persons and seized property handed over to the concerned  S.H.O.s of Madannapet and Saidabad Police Stations respectively on point of Jurisdiction for further investigation.

The arrests have been made under the supervision of Sri N. Koti Reddy, Addl. Dy. Commissioner of Police, Commissioner’s Task Force, by Sri. Ch. Sridhar, Inspector of Police, East Zone Team and I/C. South Zone Team, SI’s S/Sri. N. Srishylam, G. Mallesh, SK Jakeer Hussain and G. Venkata Rami Reddy with the assistance of staff.
